Either I have been brainwashed by Mr. Langerfeld or I have stopped seeing in colour. Regardless, this outfit is a perfect mix between feminine (flowers) and masculine (brogues), black (shoes) and white (dress), hard (chain) and soft (wooly tights). The cute dress from TopShop is given a harder edge with darker accessories, via a long-chain Chanel bag and lace-up men’s shoes. If you do opt for this, please keep the hair un-styled – think wash & wear – or you will really end up looking like a reject from a Chanel runway, or worse – think Lindsay Lohan when Ms.-Zoe-O.D. on-Chanel-mid-2005.
