I stand at the edge of bright, neon/fluorescent-coloured world with overwhelming resistance. I refuse to move forward into a sphere of crayola-hued garments that reek of the ’80’s as badly as Miss Lohan reeks of pathetic-ness. I revel in the boring, muted palette of New York and parts of London.
This entire collection looks like it was influenced by Kimora Lee Simons of Baby Phat. Usually, in the fashion world, copying trickles down from the higher tiers of the fashion hierachy. Obviously, this collection seems to be looking below (and not the ‘good’ street) for inspiration. What’s my call? Please avoid this bandwagon - you will regret it. Then again, this is D & G - is this line relevant for anyone except Victoria Beckham and spoiled, Euro trash?

Well put! 80’s comebacks have been attempted for years, and occassionally designers get it right.
Dolce & Gabbana aren’t exactly testing new waters, and even if they were, the water seems rather murky.
hah, adrian, i actually like this collection. not crazy about it, but it’s something different. especially love that black patent corset on sasha!
