Big up to Wolfgang Joop. His s/s 2007 collection was downright beautful - the perfect balance of opposites to create remarkably desirable, yet creative, clothing. Think beautifully detailed and embellished leather jackets, elegant grey pleated trousers, and some of the best blues and rose patterns of the season. The pallete ranged from grey to soft pink, all the way to vibrant pops of electric blue and tomato orange.

I wouldn’t recommend putting one of the cropped rose-patterned jackets with the rose-patterned sack dresses as shown on the runway, but these are stand-alone pieces. Pair them with basics and fresh hair and make-up to look classic, but “in the know”. Elegant, understated, edgy, forward - everything Jessica Simpson is not - is here. And that’s why I love this.
