Ann Demeulemeester is never one for a revolution. This season, she continues along her usual aesthetic, sending out the draping, raw edges, and menswear inspired vests that we have come to love. Her look is not for every woman, but it is unarguably laid-back, casual, and cool. I like the slightly suggestive, yet androgynous, look of this collection and it’s refreshing to see her stick to melancholy black in a season of beige and white. I also think the entire collection could have been done in that fading technqiue and I would not have tired.
