Galliano is a creative mastermind … blah blah blah. I’m sorry, I can’t 100% respect someone who designs such crap for men. I liken it to turning a blind eye to a murderer merely because he donated to charity - it makes no sense. Yes, I really loved his S/S 2007 collection for Dior, but I usually loathe his namesake collection, and this season is no huge exception (except for a few exceptions).

Some nice dresses and interesting hats? Indeed. On top of that, I liked the Asian-feel, the white set, the flower motif, and the cut of the jackets. To be fair, I also contend that this all looks great on the right girl with the right personality. Nonetheless, his stuff for Galliano always reminds me of McDonalds food - it looks delicious, but it’s always too much in the end.

That Galliano comparison to McDonalds is very apt:) I always think his stuff looks stunning but can’t actually imagine someone wearing it to anything other than a St. Tropex masquerade ball. Or soemthing.
