From the looks of it, the mumsy look has been traded in for something trendier - and I like. Finally, we have French actress Elodie Bouchez in tan boots at the Chloe S/S 2007 show. Yes, I know - including a French woman in this battle is like pitting a great steak against fast-food hamburgers in a meat competition. That said, vote anyway.

I do like this season’s ankle boots; however, not everyone can pull them off. Gwyneth wears them exceptionally and so does Elodie. Mena should really stay away from them because they are not her style. You have to already be chic to sport the ankle boots; you can’t use them to pretend that you are.
