Agyness & The Story of Scissors and Bleach


Before she looked like an Eastern European Cameron Russell. A few snips of the shears and a strong relationship with bleach and you have Agyness Deyn. It’s what I like to call the “Linda Evangelista” story. You know, those fantastical archetyal every-girl-turned-supermodel stories we always hear about? They’re poetic, incredibly inspiring, and nothing far-fetched from a soap opera plotline.

There’s also the “Iman” (amazon-like creature plucked from third world country and splashed onto Vogue) and the “Gia Carangi” (the serendipitous-like discovery of an icon). And they say today’s models are boring…
