With ever major fashion publication, literally without exception, dedicating entire spreads to Ghesquiere’s spring show, I have to admit that the transition from runway-to-reality has been rather sluggish. And, frankly, to throw on a metallic clutch or a chanmail top with some basics is the equivalent of adding a smidge of alcohol to a tub of punch. Eiether do it or don’t; this is not a look for the fence resters. Start with some sporty-meets-cybery high-waisted pants from Urban Outfitters (www.urbanoutfitters.co.uk). To me, the waistband on the pants look tacky and out of place, so I would cover it with a precariously strung together slip from Shopbop (www.shopbop.com). Over it, opt for a hard-edged vest and finish it with python pumps with a plexiglass platform (www.zappos.com). Wear it now, or never. This futuristic look will surely become part of the past in a few short months - maybe weeks.

Holy. Pants.
Those pants are spectacular, do they make them for men?
Great blog! Really I like it.
