L’Oreal Paris has just announced Linda Evangelista with become the brand’s international spokesperson, including acting as the face of product lines such as Glam Shine lip gloss and her own signature Colour Riche Star Secrets lipstick shade. I’m all for homegrown talent, but the fashion-er seems to be outweighing the marketer in me, hoping they would have opted for a non-super Canuck girl instead.
The annual Fashion Cares gala is proud to have Dita Von Teese as this year’s special guest. After the likes of Geri Halliwell and Miss Pamela, this is pleasant news.
