Salty Snacks for the Fashionables

Salty Snacks for the Fashionable: Tuesday, April 24, 2007

Typographer Paul Barnes has teamed up with graphic designer Peter Saville to produce a Kate Moss font. Yes, black, thin, and based upon ‘Brodovitch Albro’, it was designed with her thin frame in mind. At the fashion brunch, we suggested a little dusting of power at the end of words for a truly Moss-inspired typography, no? How about my paint interpretation, left?

Vogue.co.uk reports that Julien MacDonald has been commissioned to design the uniforms for Coco Latte SW5. This is a trend with no end in sight; last year, Posen designed the cocktail outfits for the Borgata Resort & Casino, while Rag & Bone have recently been tapped to design Six Columbus uniforms. Hey, it may be the only thing you and your room keeper have in common. Fashion for the social good, I say.
