What to Wear Now: Toronto Week of Style’s Fashion Fringe

What is it?

The Toronto Week of Style rolls into town for four days starting Wednesday, May 23. It was created to add another level of support for up and coming talent in the style industry focusing both locally and internationally.

Tomorrow is the final judging and showcase event for Canada’s first ever Fashion Fringe competition. Inspired by the wildly successful event that takes place during London Fashion Week, Fashion Fringe is the first ever national campaign to recruit the hottest undiscovered design talent in Canada. It’s being held at the Berkeley Church Theatre on Thursday, followed by the Art of Denim, where five of the hottest brands of denim will showcase their lines.

Why wear this?
While other girls will look like tools in babydolls and leggings, look lean and mean pairing shiny cigarette pants (www.topshop.com) with a white classic button up (worn done up) from Dries (www.brownsfashion.com), finished with rough ‘n tough shoes and a shiny clutch.
