Here is Selma Blair’s new shot for the Fall 2007 Gap ad campaign, shot by Queen Irritator herself, Annie Leibovitz. It’s a great shot and - more importantly - a solid step forward following their hit designer white shirt campaign. Reinvented classics is a strong platform. God knows we all have enough plain blue shirts and khakis.
Alber Elbaz has designed a line of dolls clad in Lanvin creations that will be priced at $345 each and sold in Lanvin boutiques. I don’t know what to make of this. On one hand, Elbaz is the man who brought unabashed, grown up French glamour back into the realm of fashion. On the other hand, do women ever loose the joy in dress-up?

wasn’t that gap’s tag line last season, and every season before that…some variation of reinvented basics?? maybe the world has enough khakis & blue shirts & that is why the chain is failing! selma looks hot there though.
dolls! how cute…lol, they look very breakable though
