Beth Ditto is in talks to do a range for New Look a la Lily Allen. I get Chris Kane’s argument - the whole she’s vibrant-loud-unconventional-yadda-yadda-yadda - but aren’t such adjectives more apt for a comedian than a fashion icon? After all, a fashion icon is as partial to the deaf and mute as being a mime. Two words: Kate. Moss.

Here’s Beyonce in the Emporio Armani Diamonds. I’m afraid Valentino’s Rock & Rose campaign is more on-brand than this. Aren’t you waiting for Prince to pop in and recreate the Grammy performance? A groveling attempt at something remotely youthful.
