
Somehow the whole ‘15 minutes thing’ seems a bit of an underestimate for both.
I’ve just been to the Andy Warhol exhibit (A Celebration of Life … and Death) at the National Gallery Complex in Edinburgh so Andy is on the mind. Plus, the Royal Scottish Academy’s columns have also been wrapped with the pop artist’s famous images of Campbell’s soup cans (see below), so I can’t help avoid Mr. Warhol even if we (the fashion crowd) are Factory-ied out.

I went to that show when it was in Minneapolis about 1.5 years ago. I enjoyed it because it went a bit beyond the “typical” Warhol and showed pieces most people haven’t seen that focus on the death sentence, riots, etc. I thought it was a decent show. Of course it was here far before the Warhol craze.
