If the last few years have been virtual homages to the 1960s, then the next few are looking to follow the laws of chronology. The 70s are back: The house of Halston is being primed for a major revamp, catsuits were spotted all over the S/S 2008 New York runways, and rumblings of the 1940s (the nimbus of the 70s silhouette) are gaining momentum.
And now there is this cover, which eerily harks back to the heydays of Sonny and Cher. Vinoodh with his ’stache and dark chestnut bangs and Inez with her middle-parted locks evoke the iconic couple, albeit with more talent and no foreseeable Bob Mackie obsession.
