Emmy Rossum is pretty in a pink Christian Dior gown. Without the retro accoutrements, it looks like a poorly meditated choice - as does the bright makeup. That said, a daring choice for what some have dubbed Ralph Lauren’s fashion lapdog.

Mendes is a bit too curvaceous to wear that dress. Rosum ruined a beautiful gown with a not-as-mesmerising hairdo and terrible make-up.
And I wonder if someday Ashley is leaving her skinny trousers. Well, she definitely left her Balenciaga pumps for those Louboutin ankle-boots - or shall i say shoots?
