Since so much had been made about this collection paying homage to Boy Capel and the Duke of Westminster, I was surprised to see the reference only in a couple of looks (of course I have not seen the whole tomato); there were some Capel-ish notes in breeches and breeches styling, but overall I got the impression that the collection was more an homage to England in general, smoked through Franco-punk.

Never mention the Union Jack quilted bag, tartan tulle or light-bulb shoes. That’s so typically Karl, and so utterly English.
