As “rules” and fashion are largely incompatible, no one will hold you in contempt for wearing this ensemble (Particularly since it’s a Balenciaga-Lite one, at that) virtually anywhere. That is, of course, unless anywhere means funerals, highschool (“Hi, please mug me!”), Green conventions, Hipster Communes (“Where are your superfluous accessories?”), Mormom Temples , the supermarket, and Human Rights protests. So, yes, basically anywhere.

Personally, I enjoy wearing outrageous outfits to the supermarket. Nothing like scouting out the frozen food section in formal wear in my opinion. It brings a bit of interest to a mundane life where oppurtunities for wearing faux balenciaga are few and far between.
what is really interesting is that many balenciaga inspired is actually more original than the “real” thing
