Gilt.com, an invite-only online shopping site which offers steeply discounted men’s/women’s designer goods during one to several day “fire sales”, surprised me this afternoon with Alexander McQueen women’s ready-to-wear. The multitude of great basics available (white collared short-sleeve button-up shirt, grey dolman sleeved cashmere sweater, incredible suit separates, camisoles) is impressive for a discount sale, but it takes items like this to get me excited:
