I hail from Boston (Massachusetts, USA) myself, and last night I attended a party at Shag Salon (one of the best in the city) celebrating Oribe’s product line, with Oribe- “Jesus, but for hair” as I explained to guests who were unfamiliar with his work- in attendance.
Towards the end of the evening, just as my friend and I were getting ready to leave, who should walk up to us but the master himself? He stopped to tell me that he liked my stockings, a black CVS pair hand-destroyed by myself, and chatted warmly with us for a few moments. “There are a lot of attractive people here,” he remarked before continuing through the crowd.
Having been a fashion enthusiast for over two decades, I won’t forget this…in honor of the talented stylist, who has been doing amazing hair as long as I’ve been alive, I’ve put together some of my favorite Oribe moments:
