I’m sorry!!! I haven’t been able to live with myself for the past two days knowing that Karolina in her G.I. Joe costume is the first image that greets you when you visit Fashion Verbatim, so I’ve brought relief in the form of Nadja Auermann. Arguably my favorite model of all time, she has been known since the early 90s for her blonde crop and record-breaking 44″ inseam. The term “favorite” may be over-used, but I am hard pressed to think of another model who trumps Nadja for versatility and form.
She’s haunting, no? I would love to see her book some new campaigns today, perhaps Balenciaga which I think she’d be perfect for. Her architectural poses and elegant face continue to look as relevant and fashion-forward today as they did in the nineties.
