I always play casting director, and my post yesterday conjured up a vision of Georgia Frost (Below Left and Right) working the patterned pantsuit and cuffs. She’s been flying under the radar in 2009, bookings having softened up a bit imagewise (with Bloomingdale’s, Kate Spade) the previous year. I’m sure Miss Frost still pays her rent on time, but I want to see her BACK in a big, ferocious, nasty way.

When I saw today’s Givenchy haute couture from Paris, I decided that Georgia and Meghan Collison should team up for a double-girl edit showing off Tisci’s moody designs (Below Left and Right). Their faces have more interesting curvature than hard lines, in the same vein as the collection….

While I love this dress (Above Right), does anyone else think Lara Stone and her two round, bouncy Lara Stones might’ve been better served in a different outfit? Combined with the waist folding/gathering, it’s a lot of…texture about the torso.

Well my, my; we’ve come full circle…cascading, bitchy, multilayer black fall clothes and the enormous jewelry that should accompany them. I think it’s pretty obvious where my head is at stylewise right now….

The jewelry in the last picture is how I imagine fembots or killer androids to accessorize.
While I agree that there’s a lot going on for the outfit in the middle right picture, the sharp contrast between the top and bottom make it exquisite.
