I’m on a hair kick, since yesterday when Sandy razored my below-collarbone-length hair into the haute modified-mullet I’m now sporting. I’ve never bothered with radical hair, since my dress and makeup usually have enough going on, but now I guess I’ll just have to pull it all off!
Appropriately, David Sims just shot this story for V60 (Below), showcasing the genius of Guido. The composition of the first photo makes it my favorite, but each shot is has a great combination of cleanliness and texture.

This brought Isolated Heroes to mind, the exhibition Sims shot in 1999 of Raf Simons’ models in his S/S 2000 collection (Below). The virginal and militaristic vibes in the styling clash in a cool way.
