The fashion pack are wishing upon a star after news broke that Luella had lost their financial backers and their Spring 2010 will not hit stores. The online pack has even gone as far as creating a Save Luella Facebook group to keep an eye on all things Luella, started a Twitter hashtag #saveluella created for the cause and die hard Twitter fans have even added ‘Save Luella’ Twibbon’s to their avatars. We wonder if it will help Luella Bartley find a backer for the girlie-chic label she started just a decade ago, but if the likes of Christian Lacroix and Escada can be saved in these though financial times then there is hope for Luella, especially with this showing of support by fans. Meanwhile the prices have been slashed at Luella’s online shop and when the going gets tough, it’s time for the tough to go shopping!
