Daul Kim was found dead in Paris yesterday and has saddened the entire fashion industry with the quirky model a fan favourite for her backstage antics. The cause of death is unknown but it has been hinted that it was suicide.
“She was a top model and a great friend to all of us at Next. Please respect her family’s privacy at this time of sadness. We will all miss her very much,” her modelling agency said in a statement.
Fashion can be a lonely business, especially for models who travel all over the world, often on their own. While we hope it wasn’t suicide that has seen the 20 year old Korean model leave this world, but the alternative is harder to swallow.
Rest in peace Daul Kim. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to your family.
RIP to Daul Kim. I wonder why those people who are supposed to be happy with all the success are prone in suicides.
