Celebrity style: Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Madonna and Lourdes Leon

It was a family affair at the New York ‘Nine’ premier.

Goldie Hawn, where have you been? We can’t remember the last time we saw you on the red carpet and we’re glad to see you out supporting Kate. Looking stunning in a Christian Dior Spring 2010 gown, the timeless beauty showed that she’s still got it with the tiered black dress hugging her curves with the capelet is the perfect accessory to keep the winter chill at bay.

Kate Hudson posed like she meant it with mama on the red carpet with her. Kate showed off some leg in a Chanel Fall 2009 Couture dress with sequined train. We’re a bit 50/50 about the train, it looks like an awkward addition to an otherwise gorgeous gown.

Madonna is (of course) rocking a Dolce & Gabbana lace look from their Spring 2010 collection (well she is their face). The black lace dress paired with the black gloves just needed an armful of pearl necklaces and it could be her ‘Like a Virgin’ days all over again. Either way next to her daughter Lourdes, Madge doesn’t look like she’s trying so hard to be young and relevant for once.

Lourdes Leon will no doubt one day step out from her mother Madonna’s shadow and carve up some square mileage in the gossip rags herself, but until then she’s followed in her footsteps in a Dolce & Gabbana shirt with a black bustier and pearl necklaces – what did we tell you, like mother like daughter. The only difference is that mim-Madonna added Doc Martin’s, a leather jacket and driving gloves to toughen up her look.

Looks like the Madonna’s just pipped out the Hawn-Hudson’s for the best dressed family.
