Burberry to stream their F/W 2010 show in 3D and unveil their Childrenswear campaign

You’ve got to hand it to Burberry, they really know how to up the ante when everyone catches up to them. Last season they were one of a handful of designers who streamed their Spring/Summer 2010 womenswear fashion shows live on their website… well this year they will do the same, but in 3D. Following the success of recent blockbuster movies in 3D (namely Avatar), Burberry have taken their lead and will invite a select group of editors and VIPs to ‘customized screening spaces’ throughout Tokyo, Paris, Dubai and New York and wear special 3D glasses and watch their fashion show live.

“3D technology will bring our global audience into the London show space allowing them to see the colours and fabrics, to hear the music and to be a part of that moment when it all finally comes together,” said Burberry’s Christopher Bailey. Of course for everyone who’s invite got lost in the mail, you can watch the show in regular 2D at http://live.burberry.com and comment instantaneously leave your thoughts on Burberry’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

We’d like to leave you with an “awww” moment brought to you by Burberry, their Spring/Summer 2010 campaign video of their childrenswear collection.
