Winter colours and coats
Hang on a minute… is this Mary-Kate Olsen circa 2002 or 2010? It may be a new decade but Mary-Kate’s style hasn’t changed much. She still has a coffee in one hand and an oversized Balenciaga bag in the other while wearing something oversized on her tiny frame. Albeit we love this read coat by Lanvin, the rich colour and fabulous shape is to die for. If only it were on someone taller…
Anne Hathaway keeps her winter look light thanks in part to the milder winters in LA. We love that she opted for a jade green cardigan and a multicoloured scarf, colour should never be underestimated, even if you’re trying to go for the incognito look.
I have never been the biggest fan of the girls from The Hills, so Lauren Conrad never really penetrated my fashion radar, but I do feel that she has scored herself a mention thanks to her bright yellow coat. I love that it would stand out amongst a sea of black and the oversized ruffled collar is not overwhelming. I wish she had worn tights under it though, bare legs with a over-the-knee winter coat is just a bit too bare for me.
i’m not a huge fan of the hills, but LC has great style! i always find myself remembering her cute looks when i’m shopping, doing my hair, etc!
