Somehow I never get tired of i-D magazine’s winking covers (which are a play on the winking emoticon) but I have wondered what it would be like to pose while winking. Must be difficult, should make a mental note to ask someone involved with the cover shoots about it one day… anyway back to the pre-Spring 2010 covers, they’re a bit creepy this time around no? Rihanna somehow manages to look sultry, Maria Carla Boscono looks like she’s about to devour Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci while Natasha Poly‘s big mouth and dark eyes has us wondering how she suddenly morphed into the alien-like creature we see before us. We love that black, white and orange is what ties the three covers together but we do wish they didn’t give us the shivers.
