It was one of our favourite ad campaigns of the spring/summer 2010 season and showed off Lanvin’s ruffled designs in motion. Angular model Jamie Bochert was snapped in motion by Steven Meisel that proved to be quite a hit with the bloggers. “I thought maybe we need a bit of action,” said Lanvin’s artistic director, Alber Elbaz at the time. “She (Bochert) moved so fast, even the chandelier was moving with her.” Check out this behind the scenes video of the shoot – it goes to show everyone is human after all and the ad campaign was just thanks to fantastic photography, good modeling and a good wind machine. Kind of ruins the illusion for us, but we watched it twice anyway!

Great video, Love Steven Meisel’s work looking forward to seeing this in print.
