Madonna models sunglasses she designed for Dolce & Gabbana



I’m a little over Madonna at the moment. She’s been a little over exposed in the fashion front with high profile advertising  campaigns first for Louis Vuitton and then Dolce & Gabbana. Doesn’t she have kids to raise or a toy boy to hang out with? At least with the Dolce & Gabbana ads she put her bits away a little. Speaking of which, the latest news is that Madonna has codesigned 6 pairs of sunglasses for Dolce & Gabbana, branded MD&G they will be priced at $248 to $289 and will go on sale this May 2010.

“We’re so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us,” mused Gabbana in an exclusive interview with WWD. “[Madonna] is very exacting and a professional who seeks perfection in everything she does, and this was no exception.”

The accompanying campaign (of course there’s one) was shot by Steven Klein which Madonna reportedly helped mastermind. Watch out of Madonna being spotted out and about with her face covered with one of the six sunglasses from her MD&G range for the next 6 months or so.
