We’re still getting our heads around the fact that Madonna and her daughter Lourdes has designed a clothing line for tweens – for Macy’s. We don’t understand it, not that it matters much since no one asked us if the deal should happen. Overnight another name became part of the ‘team’ – Gossip Girl’s own actress/rock-band-singing 16 year-old Taylor Momsen. The first ad campaign teaser was revealed by InStyle and is quite a good fit. Momsen is pushing her teen-rocker image and the ‘Material Girl’ by Madonna and Lourdes juniors collection mixes fierce and feminine elements.
