Overall, a sort of reinvention of some of both Nicolas’ and Cristobal’s greatest hits. He’s reconsidered some of last season’s ideas - namely the highly debated seaming and armour-like fit - and some of the archives, whether that’s the sculptural series of black dresses that opened the show (an obvious reference to the couturier’s work) or the scuba-inspired pants and the colour-saturated draping he explored towards the end (both Ghesquiere contributions to the house). By typical Ghesquiere standards, the Robin egg blue and camel-coloured printed latex is quite tame. It’s a telltale sign of an extremely easy, but acute, collection.

these women look painfully unfomfortable!
The collection will be then a hit!
The first black dress looks like the shorter version of Nicole Kidman’s Balenciaga oscar dress. So nicolas made that as a preview to his FW 2008 show. These are beautiful clothes, make a women look powerful and confident, unlike the hideous stuff showed by Dior.
You were linked by ManoloModa! You have a pretty cool site! Congratulations!
Finally my first wow of any of the collections this season.
