  It may be difficult to believe, but for fall 2007, designers weren't unified in delivering a single directional look. Instead, it was all about feeling.   Okay, first things first, let's get the obvious and unoriginal out of the way. When the most immediate associations are 80s films like Flashdance and Fame, you can be assured something is indubitably astray. Yes, the beloved, albeit appallingly maimed, relative to the woolly sock, the legwarmer, has been experiencing a slight resurgence in recent months.   Growing up in a Canadian-Italian family, you quickly learn two rules when it comes to fashion. Number One: Completely disregard the occasion or event when selecting the colour scheme for your outfit - black is the only choice. Weddings, funerals, engagements, baptisms, picnics, breakfasts, anniversaries, charity dinners, churning your own butter, and attending to your vegetable garden.
