  Majtenyi has fun with fabric at his fall 2007 show. Thursday started with Andrew Majtenyi's debut collection. It began with a crash, literally. A short film entitled "Smash", directed by Majtenyi and edited by Darryl Gold, kicked off the fall 2007 show of the same name. Featuring crash test dummies, high-speed chases reminiscent of an infamous white Bronco, and glorified marriages of metal and guard rails, it was a riveting, if treacherous, way to begin a debut showing.
