I blame it on Jay Manuel from Top Model. A pose once reserved for 5ft.11″ models and the pages of Vogue Italia has trickled down to bloggers like Bryanboy and substandard celebrities. Yes, the hunched, hands-on hip, partially decaying pose is being sported by people other than high fashion models. Frankly, unless you have a spine long enough to warrant this pose AND there is a world famous photographer pointing a lense at you, please don’t stand like this.
Why not opt for the head hanging, pigeon-toed stance prefered by emo kids? Or how about the spindly, leg-over-leg look favoured by the ever-shrinking Nicole Ritchie?

hahahaha =)
i’m fat though. i need to lose 20 more pounds. my arms are massive on that photo
I hate that pose, it’s so ‘look at me’ and it’s really unflattering. At least the Nicole Ritchie leg-over-leg pose is flattering!
and…if you dont have a good look to begin with…that girl with the hat looks incorrect!
omg bryanboy you really think your fat! You are skinnier than me and i am 5′10 weigh 110 lbs and do that pose, and I always think oh so cliche, i didnt learn any better fall back on poses from top model. Anyways please, you are beautiful and way too skinny as I am, please don’t get all body dysmorphic disorder on us.
i think this pose is beautiful. and i think only certain people can pull it off. it is definitely high-fashion couture. i think it’s stunning.
