More fuel against us fashionables. Donatella Versace’s 20-year-old daughter, Allegra (right), is undergoing treatment for anorexia. A very sad situation to say the least, but also an interesting case (and I don’t mean that in a sterile manner) considering this is, of all fashion offspring, a Versace - a name synonymous with bosomy, sultry femme fatales. That said, only the blind couldn’t see this has been a problem for years.
Fashion/celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz is scheduled to take the official photograph for Queen Elizabeth 11’s state visit to the US in May. Apparently Leibovitz is involved in the discussions as to what the Queen will wear. Quick question: does anyone care except the monarchs themselves?
Last night, Jamie Burke, Hedi Slimane, and others turned out to celebrate V Man’s Spring 2007 issue with Orlando Bloom on the cover. Boy-toy-turned-musician Jamie, who has an article and small ed in the issue (below), performed. If the invitation read “Thin boys only”, why didn’t I get an invite? Pfft.
